AL AIN HOSPITAL- UAE

The plot 15-03-131-215 of the existing Al Ain Hospital is situated at Al Ain between the 124th, 126th and 131st street. The existing facilities of the Al Ain Hospital will be partly replaced and dilated by new facilities.
The Project of the New Al Ain Hospital comprises the development of a complex of several new buildings which will be built in phases. As far as necessary this is considered within the structural design.
The gross floor areas are approximately 200.000 sqm for the stories above ground and 150.000 sqm for the basements. Within the Main Hospital complex an atrium with approx. 17.000 sqm is covered by glass facades and a roof made of glass, steel and concrete.
The Main Hospital complex in the eastern part of the plot is connected with the supply and disposal area in the western part by an Utility Tunnel system with a length of approx. 1000 m. The Main Hospital is situated on the eastern part of the Al Ain Hospital complex. It consists of two underground levels and up to five stories above ground (seven stories for the heliport). Above common areas an atrium is surrounded by a glass facade and covered by a roof made of glass, steel
and concrete.
The upper stories are planned as square blocks approx. 44/44 m, generally two or three of these blocks are connected.
